Welcome to Edify Lives, a Christian social media platform that connects individuals with churches, nonprofit organizations, Christian-owned businesses, and like-minded believers. By accessing or using the app, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform.

1. Eligibility and Account Responsibility

You must be 13 years or older to use this app. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

2. User-Generated Content and Community Guidelines

You may post content, create events, send messages, and connect with other users. You agree not to post:

Offensive, harmful, or discriminatory content
Spam or commercial scams
False or misleading information
Illegal or violent content

To protect users and community values, we provide moderation tools:

Flagging: Users can report objectionable content
Blocking: Users can block other users from interacting with them

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend users at our discretion for violations.

3. Subscription Pricing and Terms

Businesses	$5	Promote Christian-owned businesses and accept contact from users
Nonprofits	$5	Receive donations and promote nonprofit causes to the community

Length of subscription: Ongoing month-to-month, auto-renews until cancelled
Payment: Charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase
Auto-Renewal: Subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
Manage Subscription: Cancel or manage your subscription in your Apple ID settings

4. Donations and Business Listings Disclaimer

Donations made through the platform are processed by third-party services designated by the listed nonprofits. Edify Lives does not validate nonprofit status nor guarantee outcomes. There is a 15% fee for all donations.

Business listings are user-submitted; Edify Lives is not responsible for services rendered by listed businesses.

5. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

Reverse-engineer or tamper with the app
Use scraping or automation tools
Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
Circumvent security or access restrictions

6. Termination of Access

Edify Lives may suspend or terminate your account for any violation of these terms or applicable law, with or without prior notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

Edify Lives is provided "as-is" and we make no warranties regarding availability, reliability, or fitness for any purpose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Privacy Policy

We value your privacy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how your data is used and protected.

9. Apple-Specific Terms

This agreement is between you and Edify Lives, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Subscription billing and management are handled via your Apple ID account settings.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app indicates your acceptance of any updated terms.
